Thomas and Rochele Davies

Thomas and Rochele Davies

We would like to invite you on a journey to follow Jesus with us in Davis as we explore the significance of church. Rochele and I have been married since 2002. We started Renaissance Community Church in January 2007, with the dream of impacting the city of Davis with an evident faith and inviting others to belong to Jesus before they believe in Jesus. One of our main points at Renaissance is “You Belong Here.” We believe that the city of Davis and its surrounding parts can and should be in community on a daily basis. Our church is a non-denominational Christian church that exists to serve the needs of Davis and beyond. As Jesus appeals to you to follow Him, will you join us as we do it together? Feel free to investigate the grace of Christ and the power of community at Renaissance Community Church. If you have any questions or would like to get a cup of coffee please feel free to reach out to us.

Curtis Perea

Silas, Sally and Curtis

Hello! My name is Curtis Perea and it is a great honor for me to be the Associate Pastor at Renaissance Community Church. I became a Christian in 2003 at the age of 27 and joined Trinity Life Bible College just six months after my conversion. In the Spring of 2008 I graduated with my Bachelors Degree from TLBC, finished my youth ministry internship with another church, and joined Tom Davies in ministering to the people of Renaissance Community Church. My wife Sally and I have enjoyed RCC and it brings us great joy to see God’s hand move in the lives of the people we have come to know and love as brothers and sisters in Christ. We have been faithfully following Christ together since we were married in 2005. Though our paths to Christ were quite different, our appreciation for what God has done, and continues to do, in our lives constantly grows. Since then, God has blessed us with a son, Silas, who was born in March of 2009. We hope to see you Sunday morning and around town, and we look forward to being blessed by watching all that the Lord is doing, and is going to do, in your life. May God Bless you and your family with the grace and peace that only He can bring!

Benjamin Kagonyera

Benjamin Kagonyera

My walk with God began in High School, which is when I gave my life to Jesus. I am from Uganda originally but moved to Davis in 2003. I have since completed a degree in Business Administration-Finance at Sacramento State University, and have continued to let myself be used of God. I have been with RCC since its inception and have been blessed to see the hand of the Lord move mightily upon this church. I have a passion for seeing people give their lives to Christ and I enjoy sharing the word of God with people of all walks. I rejoice in seeing people grow to become disciples and want to continue to be used of God as a vessel of honor ready for the master's use (2 Tim. 2:21). I know with all certainty that greater things are yet to come for RCC so I look forward to seeing the Lord's wonderful plans come to fruition.
